Yike is currently pursuing the Engineering Master’s program at École Polytechnique, specializing in Bioinformatics. His interest in computational biology began while working under Christophe Zimmer in the Imaging and Modeling Cell Biology Department at Institut Pasteur. There, he contributed to research on generative AI for antibiotic discovery, focusing on optimizing graph neural networks for antibiotic prediction. He is currently an intern in the Ewald Group at EMBL-EBI, where he works on benchmarking morphological profiling models for Cell Painting data.
